What We Check
Surface condition. Dust, pollen, salt film, ash, or bird droppings — the most common cause of reduced output, and the easiest to fix.
Visible damage. Cracked glass, discoloration, or visible hot spots that might indicate a developing panel issue rather than a cleaning problem.
Nesting or debris. Signs of birds or other critters that may be affecting panels or nearby wiring.
Shading changes. Tree growth or new structures that may be casting shade on parts of your array that weren’t shaded when it was installed.
What This Inspection Doesn’t Cover
We’re a cleaning company, not electricians — we don’t service inverters, wiring, or the electrical side of your system. If your symptoms point toward something beyond surface-level (a suspected inverter fault, wiring issue, or anything requiring licensed electrical work), we’ll tell you plainly and suggest reaching out to your installer or a licensed solar electrician.

How do I know if my panels need cleaning versus a repair?
Reduced output can come from several causes — dirt/debris buildup, a developing shade issue from tree growth, a loose or damaged connection, or an aging inverter. A visual inspection helps narrow down which it likely is before you spend money on a cleaning that might not fix the actual problem, or vice versa.
Can you tell if a panel is actually damaged, not just dirty?
We can identify visible signs of damage — cracked glass, discoloration, visible hot spots, corrosion — during a visual inspection. We're not electricians or a certified inspection service for insurance or warranty claims, but we can tell you what we see and whether it looks like something worth having a solar electrician or your installer look at further.
Do you check my inverter or just the panels themselves?
Our inspection covers the panels and visible array components — we don't service inverters or electrical systems, which fall outside a cleaning company's scope. If we suspect an inverter issue based on your described symptoms, we'll say so and suggest you contact your installer or a licensed electrician.
